The main premise of the card game is to be handed cards totaling up to 21. Each competitor is dealt 2 cards. When a blackjack player is given a 9 or less and an Ace they’ve been dealt a soft hand. When the blackjack player receives no Ace cards it is known as a hard hand. Once the cards have been handed to every player at the table, which includes the dealer, every blackjack player is provided the opportunity to make 1 of six choices:

Requesting another card (Hit): When a player announces hit me the dealer will deal him another card, if the adding of that card makes the value of the hand to exceed twenty-one the gambler will have busted and be excluded from the game, if the card makes the value of the hand to twenty-one the blackjack player wins and if the total hasn’t yet achieved 21 they’re still in the game.

Keeping the hand you’ve been given: If a black jack player is satisfied with the cards they will stay. Once this has happened the dealer will disclose his/her hand and the blackjack player who has accumulated twenty-one or the nearest to twenty one will acquire a win.

Doubling Down: A gambler might ask to double down which doubles the bet they have made. As soon as you’ve taken this action you can only be given 1 more card. The details of doubling down are often specified by the table or casino game rules so prior to competing make certain you are at ease with the casino game rules. If you’re gambling at a web-based betting house this is usually quite simple.
