I have bet on millions of rounds of twenty-one. I began sneaking into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have wagered on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still spent all kinds of bankroll at chemin de fer. The casinos have made it basically impossible to defeat the casino.
I still enjoy the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a variation of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get flush with this method or defeat the house, however you will experience an abundance of fun. This method is based on the idea that blackjack seems to be a match of runs. When you are on fire your hot, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I bet with basic strategy blackjack. When I lose I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I do not win again I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the wager back down to the original bet.
I am very strict and do not back out. It gets very thrilling on occasion. If you win a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quick. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Wynn a number of years ago with $750 after 45 mins using this tactic! And a few days ago in Atlantic City I left a game with $1200!
You need to understand that you can relinquish much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be astonished at the streaks you witness betting this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you kept winning at a five dollar table.
Bet five dollar
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the first $5 wager
Bet 5 dollar
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $10
Bet 10 dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the original ten dollar bet
Wager $10
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Bet $20
Take $20 paid to you, leave the first twenty dollar bet
Bet 20 dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $40
Wager $40
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 40 dollar bet
Bet 40 dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $80
Bet eighty dollar
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the first $80 bet
Wager $80
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first one hundred and sixty dollar bet
If you departed at this moment you would be up three hundred and 15 dollars !!
It is difficult to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and lower your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
