I have played millions of hands of blackjack. I started working my way into the casinos when I was still underage. I have wagered on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. Given all that I have still spent a lot of cash at blackjack. The casinos have made it basically impossible to defeat the house.
I still enjoy the game and play on a frequent basis. Over the years I have wagered on a type of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get flush with this method or defeat the house, however you will experience an abundance of fun. This tactic is founded on the fact that blackjack appears to be a match of streaks. When you are on fire your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I bet with basic strategy 21. When I lose I wager the table minimum on the successive hand. If I lose again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the payout paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the bet back down to the original value.
I am very strict and never back out. It gets very enjoyable sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in series your wagers go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had great runs a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Venetian a couple of years back with $750 after 60 minutes using this technique! And a few weeks ago in Macau I left a table with $1200!
You have to comprehend that you can give away much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be aghast at the streaks you witness betting this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a five dollar table.
Wager $5
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the first $5 bet
Wager five dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $10
Wager $10
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the original 10 dollar bet
Bet $10
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Wager $20
Take $20 paid to you, leave the first $20 bet
Wager 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Bet forty dollar
Take $40 paid to you, leave the initial forty dollar bet
Wager forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Bet eighty dollar
Take $80 paid to you, leave the original $80 bet
Wager $80
Leave $80 paid to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager 160 dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the initial $160 bet
If you departed at this instance you would be up three hundred and 15 dollars !!
It’s iffy to go on a streak this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can’t alter and lower your bet or the end result will not be the same.
