I have enjoyed millions of hands of vingt-et-un. I began sneaking into the gambling dens when I was 16. I have bet on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. With all that said I have still lost an abundance of funds at vingt-et-un. The casinos have made it very hard to beat the casino.
I still like the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have played a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get loaded with this method or beat the casino, nonetheless you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is built on the fact that blackjack seems to be a match of streaks. When you are hot your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I do not win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I don’t win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the bet back down to the original sum.
I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets extremely fun at times. If you win a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very fast. Before you know it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Venetian a couple of years back with $750 after 45 mins using this tactic! And a number of weeks ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!
You have to understand that you can lose much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be astonished at the streaks you see gamble this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you kept winning at a 5 dollar game.
Wager five dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the first five dollar wager
Bet $5
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Wager $10
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the initial ten dollar wager
Bet 10 dollar
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total wager of $20
Wager 20 dollar
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the original twenty dollar wager
Bet twenty dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 40 dollar
Wager 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original forty dollar wager
Bet forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Bet $80
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the initial 80 dollar wager
Wager eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total bet of $160
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the first 160 dollar wager
If you left at this moment you would be up $315 !!
It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and lower your bet or the final result will not be the same.
