I have played countless of hands of vingt-et-un. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was 16. I have wagered on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. With all that said I have still spent a lot of funds at 21. The gambling dens have made it very hard to beat the game.
I still like the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have gambled on a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get flush with this tactic or defeat the casino, still you will experience an abundance of fun. This method is founded on the idea that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of streaks. When you are hot your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I don’t win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I do not win again I bet the table minimum on the next hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the action back down to the original bet.
I am very strict and never back out. It gets extremely enjoyable on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your wagers go up very fast. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome streaks a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Luxor a couple of years ago with $750 after 20 minutes using this technique! And a couple of months ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can squander a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be astonished at the streaks you witness betting this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a 5 dollar game.
Wager 5 dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the first $5 wager
Wager $5
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total wager of ten dollar
Wager ten dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the original ten dollar wager
Bet $10
Leave $10 paid to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Wager $20
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 20 dollar bet
Bet twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of $40
Wager 40 dollar
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 40 dollar bet
Wager 40 dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total bet of $80
Wager eighty dollar
Take $80 paid to you, leave the original 80 dollar wager
Bet $80
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Wager $160
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the original 160 dollar wager
If you left at this point you would be up three hundred and 15 dollars !!
It’s difficult to go on a run this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can’t alter and lower your bet or the final result will not be the same.
