I have wagered on countless of rounds of vingt-et-un. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have played online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. Given all that I have still lost an abundance of funds at blackjack. The gambling dens have made it very hard to beat the house.
I still like the game and gamble on a regular basis. Over the years I have bet on a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get loaded with this tactic or beat the house, still you will experience an abundance of fun. This tactic is founded on the idea that 21 seems to be a game of streaks. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy blackjack. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I do not win again I bet the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Once I hit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the action back down to the original amount.
I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets extremely enjoyable sometimes. If you win a few hands in a row your bets go up very quick. Before you know it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome runs a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Flamingo a number of years ago with $750 after 35 minutes using this method! And a number of months ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!
You must comprehend that you can lose much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be aghast at the streaks you witness playing this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 table.
Wager $5
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the first $5 wager
Bet $5
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total bet of 10 dollar
Bet $10
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the original 10 dollar wager
Wager $10
Leave $10 paid to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Bet twenty dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the original 20 dollar wager
Bet $20
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of $40
Wager $40
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the first $40 bet
Wager $40
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 80 dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 80 dollar wager
Bet 80 dollar
Leave $80 paid to you for a total bet of 160 dollar
Wager 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $160 bet
If you left at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!
It’s difficult to go on a streak this long, but it will happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and lower your bet or the final result will not be the same.
