I have played countless of hands of vingt-et-un. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was sixteen. I have gambled on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. Given all that I have still spent a lot of funds at chemin de fer. The gambling dens have made it nearly impossible to beat the casino.
I still enjoy the game and play on a frequent basis. Over the years I have wagered on a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get loaded with this method or defeat the casino, still you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is built on the idea that chemin de fer seems to be a game of streaks. When you are hot your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!
I bet with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I lose I bet the table minimum on the successive hand. If I lose again I wager the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Whenever I win I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the wager back down to the original bet.
I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets extremely exciting at times. If you win a few hands in series your bets go up very fast. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic runs a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Flamingo a number of years ago with $750 after 20 mins using this technique! And a number of days ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can say good-bye to a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be aghast at the runs you see wagering this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a five dollar table.
Wager five dollar
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the first 5 dollar bet
Wager $5
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $10
Wager 10 dollar
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the first 10 dollar bet
Bet 10 dollar
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total wager of 20 dollar
Bet $20
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the first 20 dollar bet
Wager twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of $40
Bet $40
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 40 dollar bet
Bet $40
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Wager 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 80 dollar bet
Wager 80 dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the initial $160 bet
If you departed at this instance you would be up $315 !!
It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can’t alter and drop your bet or the final result will not be the same.
