Blackjack Is Like A Roller Coaster

Blackjack is a game that reminds me somewhat of a roller coaster. It’s a game that kicks off slowly, but gradually gains speed. As you slowly build up your profit, you feel like you are slowly getting to the top of the coaster and then when you least expect it, the bottom drops out.

black jack is so much like a roller coaster the similarities are alarming. As with the popular amusement ride, your blackjack game will peak and things will appear to be going great for awhile before it bottoms out again. Of course you have to be a blackjack player that is able to readjust to the ups … downs of the game mainly because the game of blackjack is choked full with them.

If you like the mini coaster, a coaster that cannot go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way that you can enjoy the crazy ride is with a much bigger wager, then jump aboard for the ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high stakes gambler will love the view from the monster roller coaster because he or she is not mentally processing the drop as they rush headlong to the top of the game.

A win goal and a loss limit works well in blackjack, but very few gamblers adhere to it. In black jack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it’s going up, that’s a lovely feeling, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster starts to flip and turn, you had better escape in a hurry.

If you do not, you will not naturally remember how much you enjoyed the good life while your profit was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a great ride and your head in the sky. As you are thinking on "what ifs", you won’t recall how "high up" you went but you will have memories of that mortifying drop as clear as day.
