I have gambled on millions of hands of chemin de fer. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have played online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. With all that said I have still lost all kinds of money at chemin de fer. The casinos have made it very hard to defeat the game.

I still enjoy the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have enjoyed a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get flush with this method or beat the casino, still you will have a lot of fun. This method is built on the idea that 21 seems to be a game of runs. When you are hot your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!

I bet with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I don’t win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I lose again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. As soon as I hit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the wager back down to the original value.

I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets very exciting on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quick. Before you know it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had great streaks a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Flamingo a number of years ago with $750 after 60 minutes using this technique! And a few weeks ago in Macau I left a table with $1200!

You need to understand that you can say good-bye to a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be astonished at the streaks you see betting this way. Below is a guide of what you would bet if you kept winning at a $5 table.

Wager five dollar
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 5 dollar bet

Wager $5
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total bet of ten dollar

Bet 10 dollar
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $10 wager

Bet $10
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total bet of $20

Bet twenty dollar
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial twenty dollar wager

Bet 20 dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total bet of forty dollar

Wager forty dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the initial forty dollar wager

Wager $40
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar

Wager $80
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the original eighty dollar wager

Bet $80
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $160

Wager $160
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 1 hundred and sixty dollar bet

If you departed at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!

It’s herculean to go on a streak this long, but it does happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and drop your wager or the end result will not be the same.
